Customer Assistant

We are looking for people who will be helpful and friendly for our customers in everything they do. 

Customers are at the heart of everything we do and the time they’re most likely to engage face-to-face with Tesco colleagues is while chatting at the checkout, or asking for help on the store floor. That means, if you become a Customer Assistant, you’ll be right at the heart of our in-store customer experience.

There are lots of different roles on offer: from operating checkouts to fulfilling Grocery Home Shopping orders, as well as the opportunity to multi-skill in some of our more specialised areas. If you have the passion and commitment to succeed, this can be a fantastic career opportunity for you.

Customer Assistant – Tesco Mobile Phone Shop

As a customer assistant you could also be working in one of our Tesco Mobile Phone Shops. You won’t just be helping customers to purchase a new phone or sim, you’ll be supporting them to understand the full capability of their device and how they can get the most from it, at home or at work.  You will have a keen interest in technology, and be able to talk knowledgeably about our products and services.
