We have a wide range of roles within Property, so whether you’ve got specialist or generalist skills, there should be something to suit you. Because you’ll be talking to lots of different stakeholders, strong interpersonal skills are really important, as is the ability to work well in a diverse environment.
We want our shopping experience to be as good as it possibly can be, so you’ll need to be innovative and proactive with the ways in which we can improve – thinking about our customers in every single thing you do.
Within the Property team you could be coming up with new designs at concept stage or developing a new layout for an existing store. You might be improving current practices by overhauling the customer experience, or finding ways to make things simpler, better, and cheaper. A lot of our work also supports local communities, to make sure that our stores are entirely tailored to their needs.
This is a great opportunity to experience lots of different sides of the business, as we work closely with many different internal stakeholders. Marketing provides customer insight, while Product makes sure that the product offer is right for customers. Procurement purchases our requirements at the best price, while Retail Support makes sure that we deliver for customers through service and environment, so customers can shop in a seamless, multichannel way.

Managing our portfolio of Tesco estates, tenants, and shopping centres.
Makes sure we have the right physical spaces in our portfolio through the acquisition of sites as they’re needed.
Management of our construction projects, within our existing estate and new builds, to ensure they are delivered on time, to budget, and that they meet/exceed end user requirements.
Preventative and reactive across our entire estate to ensure the shopping and trading experience works efficiently and safely for our customers and colleagues.
Ensuring we are ahead of the market with sustainable energy initiatives that ensure our property portfolio is operating efficiently.
