About the role

As an Online Marketing Executive at Tesco Ireland, you will play a pivotal role in crafting the future of our Online Grocery Home Shopping business. You will have the chance to work within a great team, bringing our brand to life through outstanding delivery of creative excellence. This is a remarkable opportunity to contribute to ambitious marketing campaigns that strictly adhere to our high standards of quality and efficiency.

At Tesco, we believe in the power of spending more time together, face to face, than apart. So, during your working week, you can expect to spend 60% of your time in one of our office locations or local sites and the rest remotely.

You will be responsible for

  • Helping the Online Brand Marketing Manager with developing and implementing coordinated marketing campaigns to increase awareness and engagement in Tesco’s Online Grocery Home Shopping business.
  • Bringing our brand to life through the delivery of creative excellence across all customer touchpoints within our customer communications.
  • Collaborating with our external agency partners and internal channel teams to support the campaign delivery process. This includes briefing, creative development, and obtaining sign-off from relevant collaborators.
  • Assisting the Online Brand Marketing Manager on strategic propositions for Tesco Online based on customer needs, market trends, and opportunities to grow Tesco’s Online Grocery Home Shopping business, delivering against both long-term and annual business plans.
  • Partnering with Insight colleagues to ensure campaigns are built on insight and that creative testing is in place.
  • Supporting forecasting and tracking of creative and media budgets.
  • Monitoring real-time campaigns, raising any issues and managing them through to resolution, ensuring that administration logs and campaign trackers are kept up to date for audit purposes.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues within and outside your function, developing and actively maintaining positive relationships across the Tesco business in Ireland.
  • Following our Business Code of Conduct and always act with integrity and due diligence.

You will need

  • Relevant 2+ years’ brand/marketing experience.
  • A primary degree or master's degree in marketing, or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent copywriting, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • A creative flair and an ability to articulate and influence strategic decisions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • A positive attitude and a proactive approach to challenges.
