About the role

Tesco Ireland are currently seeking to appoint a Digital Marketing Manager in their Brand team. The person will Influence and build digital and data-driven marketing capability within Tesco and its agency partners to drive effective digital media planning, delivering growth. Act as a subject matter authority, leading projects proactively and independently, fostering cross-functional collaboration.

You will be responsible for

  • Leading and supporting data-driven digital plans, running budgets, working cross functionally across Tesco Ireland, Tesco group and external partners. Use data, insights, and econometrics to evaluate, report business results, and optimize performance.
  • Supporting and challenging teams and agencies to deliver amazing creative tailored for channels, tactics, and expected outcomes. Assist in the development of best-in-class dynamic digital creative using the latest technology and best practices.
  • Working collaboratively with the wider customer team on key seasons and business briefs.
  • Setting and evolving a learning agenda to accelerate data-driven marketing in the business.
  • Implementing standard processes and stay informed on industry trends, providing regular inspiration to teams.
  • Supporting and advising on the development of a consumer data management martech roadmap on the route to personalisation at scale.
  • Supporting and upskilling Customer and Commercial team members in planning, designing, and implementing data-driven marketing campaigns, understanding performance, and developing intelligence for more performant future activation.

You will need

  • Expert professional (5 years+ experience) with sophisticated paid digital media advertising strategy and data-driven marketing expertise on a portfolio client within an in-house marketing or agency environment.
  • Passionate digital expert with a deep understanding of how digital and media work within a CPG business model.
  • Meticulous with adaptability to changing work environments, resilient, and quick to learn new things. Great teammate in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical skills, utilizing a data-driven approach to decision-making and optimization. Driving cross-channel audience strategies and implementing a test-and-learn approach to media effectiveness.
