About the role

Tesco Ireland is seeking to recruit a Finance Business Partner as part of our Tesco Mobile Team. This position that reports directly to the Head of Finance for Tesco Mobile. The business partner role provides finance leadership through insight, financial modelling and control to cross functional teams to support the implementation of the Tesco Mobile’s business plan and strategic goals.

You will be responsible for

Business Partnering: Effective Business Partnering to Commercial, Technology, Marketing and Operations to ensure operational plans are aligned to the business plan. Main finance contact for all projects, including Go To Market propositions, New space and Regulatory changes.

Capital: Owner of capital forecasting and financial advisor to all business cases. Particular focus on capital outlay onto the Telecommunications platform.

Financial modelling: Create financial models to drive go-forward business plan recommendations based on potential risks and returns.

Revenue Assurance: Continuous improvement relating to revenue assurance. Drive operational profit improvements through full P&L scope.

Decision Support: New proposition/tariff development C pricing, profitability analysis and business case preparation including a robust Post implementation review.

Wholesale Finance: Ownership of wholesale finance. Review wholesale traffic arrangements with Fixed, MNO and MVNO partners to ensure optimum traffic routing and pricing for TMI both nationally and internationally. Manage third party providers to drive efficiencies and manage cost lines within budget.

Retail Finance: Responsible for Gross margin reporting including month-end and revenue recognition

You will need

  • Qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA with a minimum of 3 years PQE.
  • Telecommunications experience is preferred.
  • Ability to influence Senior Management Team.
  • Ability to lead cross functional teams.
  • Proven people skills and a strong communicator.
  • Proven ability to work effectively under pressure and to prioritise within deadlines.
  • Strong MS Office Suite skills.
