Finance Manager

Tesco Ireland are currently seeking to appoint a Finance Manager in their Central Finance Team. The role is primarily responsible for analysing period performance, identifying and understanding trends through financial models and analysis, and presenting findings to the Leadership team through visualization

• Working with stakeholders across the entire ROI business to analyse complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to leadership for decision making purposes
• Developing financial models and analysis to support strategic initiatives and decision making
• Ensuring CTS data is accurate and published as per agreed timelines and analyse the output to offer valuable insight to the Leadership team
• Analyzing financial data and become a subject matter expert to provide additional insights using visualisation tools
• Identifying and understanding business challenges; propose and create solutions
• Working on corporate projects and initiatives that impact the entire organization
• Following our Business Code of Conduct and always acting with integrity and due diligence

• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role
• Qualified Accountant (or studying towards qualification)
• Experience accumulating, organizing, analysing, and reporting relevant financial data
• Experience with SQL, and visualisation tools
• Experience developing financial reports and metrics
• Experience in financial and scenario modelling
• Advanced excel (VBA) / and visualization tool (ideal)
• Communication and influencing skills with ability to interact at various management levels
