About the role

Tesco Ireland are currently seeking to appoint a Digital Marketing Analytics Manager. Reporting to the Online Performance Customer Lead, the successful candidate will be responsible for building, developing and maintaining reports, dashboards and performance metrics that that support key business decisions for Tesco Grocery and Tesco Mobile Ireland.

The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of digital marketing and will collaborate across functions to deliver an effective marketing analytics strategy to meet the business objectives in the most efficient and cost-effective manner.

You will be responsible for

  • Tracking, reporting, and analysing the performance of marketing activities, ad-hoc analytic requests, and development/automation of regular reports.
  • Produce meaningful marketing KPI dashboards and provide, cross-channel performance reports with actionable insights.
  • Benchmark performance across all online channels and advise on KPIs based on performance analysis
  • Evaluate online user behaviour, customer journeys and funnel analysis and make recommendations for further optimisations.
  • Work closely with web developers on tag management ensuring existing tags are firing as expected, implement new tags and retire unused tags.
  • Work closely with media agency and DMP platform to manage the audience segmentation, audience analytics and testing strategy.

You will need

  • 3-5 years of marketing analytics, marketing operations, or digital marketing experience, preferably in a related industry
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to track, measure, and report on results of various marketing functions to determine ROI
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to provide actionable insights from data
  • Advanced in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with data visualization tools
  • Experience in Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager
