About the role

Tesco Ireland are currently seeking to appoint a Consumer Dynamics Manager within our Customer Team. The successful candidate will create a compelling and aligned strategy for consumers to deliver our vision and bring leading edge thinking that gives Tesco a competitive advantage.

You will be responsible for

  • Identifying strategic customer opportunities based on insight and engaging senior stakeholders to scope projects
  • Solving complex strategic challenges and supporting my team to generate ideas, make specific recommendations and develop propositions to improve customer experience and loyalty
  • Leading and successfully delivering large scale customer strategy projects which will impact a transformational  business change by building relationships with key stakeholders
  • Delivering Stretch&Spend customer acquisition and retention targets through optimising our clubcard database
  • Interpreting complex data and insight to shape future thinking and the strategic planning across all channels
  • Making a significant contribution to the development and communication of Tesco Clubcard overall strategy
  • Forecasting and managing my budgets effectively, always being cost conscious and improving efficiency
  • Following our Business Code of Conduct and always act with integrity and due diligence

You will need

  • Ideally have a consultancy or industry analyst background
  • Experience in a strategy role in retail or consumer-facing industries
  • Experience of solving complex problems and effectively communicating recommendations to senior stakeholders and wide audiences
  • Engaging and influencing senior stakeholders
  • Experience of scoping and answering the right strategic questions based insight and data
  • Proficiency with SQL
  • Excel Macro creation / automation
