About the role

Tesco Ireland is seeking to recruit a Talent Manager as part of our People Team. This role will manage the talent process, early career programs and the D&I agenda for Tesco, ensuring our talent and D&I initiatives align to the needs of the business. This role will do this through having a strong network and partnering with key stakeholders across the business.

You will be responsible for

  • Leading the development, implementation and assessment of Diversity and Inclusion strategies and initiatives to continuously improve the colleague experience
  • Engaging, influencing and coaching stakeholders to deliver Diversity and Inclusion initiatives
  • Identifying external trends and best practice for Diversity and Inclusion initiatives
  • Managing the Performance Management and Talent Cycle 
  • Developing long and short-term talent plans for Talent & Performance Management
  • Engaging, influencing and coaching stakeholders to deliver talent management and performance processes
  • Working with teams to provide insight and recommendations on capability gaps and trends for the businesses
  • Creating and implementing talent development plans to address immediate capability issues for the businesses
  • Working with the business to ensure the information contained with the Talent database is accurate and up to date
  • Following our Business Code of Conduct and always acting with integrity and due diligence 
  • Managing the early careers programs
  • Sharing data with key stakeholders to ensure programs are on track and implement changes or recommendations
  • Continually looking for innovative ways to improve, design and deliver programs based on expert knowledge and guidance

You will need

  • HR third level degree desirable
  • Experience in a similar role
  • Experience in delivering a Diversity and Inclusion agenda
  • Experience in managing the Talent and Performance agenda
  • Communication and Influencing skills
  • MS Office Suite experience
  • To be able to build strong relationships and  have a proven track record in stakeholder management
