About the role

Tesco Ireland is seeking to recruit a Grocery Home Shopping Business Planning & Change Manager as part of our Grocery Home Shopping Team. The GHS Business Planning and Change Manager will support the business transformation & strategy manager in the development of annual and long-term business plans for GHS to achieve growth and profit targets.

You will be responsible for

  • Following our Business Code of Conduct and always acting with integrity and due diligence
  • Supporting the development of GHS annual and long-term business plans to achieve its financial, customer and Colleague targets
  • Using local and global insights, trends, and data to better inform the GHS LT in the development of the ongoing strategy and long-term plan for GHS
  • Build and maintain a close working relationship with the GHS LT, central and operations teams, cross functional central teams, and UK/Group teams where required to develop the overall annual programme plan for GHS
  • Monitor, review and communicate progress against the business plan across Online and the wider business
  • Tracking programme inter-dependencies, risks and issues, effectively escalating where required to ensure resolution
  • Tracking programme level key performance indicators   
  • Supporting project managers through governance processes to ensure consistency and transparency across the various streams of work
  • Developing programme level leadership presentations to provide status updates, ensure appropriate decision making, and engagement with senior leadership stakeholders
  • Managing the end to end implementation of selected projects

You will need

  • Financial and or business planning experience in a similar FMCG/retail business
  • Online/ e-commerce experience in a similar FMCG/retail business preferable
  • Influencing senior stakeholders within the business
  • Experience in influencing multi-site and remote teams
  • Project Management experience  
  • Programme Plan development experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point)
